Golf Lessons in Utrecht

Looking for golf lessons in Utrecht taught in clear, friendly English? I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor, and I have taught hundreds of beginners, children, expats and experienced players over more than fifteen years. My lessons are private, patient and built around you — whether you have never held a club or you want to lower your handicap.

Golf lessons in English, in the middle of the Netherlands

Most of my students are internationals living in and around Utrecht, and Dutch golfers who simply prefer a relaxed lesson in English. I teach in English first, and I also speak Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian, so you can always ask a question in the language you think in. You will understand every instruction, and you will feel at home from the first minute.

Two clubs, close to wherever you are in the province

I teach at two friendly venues, and you choose the one that suits you:

• Chi Chi Golf, Utrecht — Gageldijk 1, on the north edge of the city: a covered 30-bay driving range with ball tracking, a 9-hole course and a modern clubhouse. Perfect for first lessons, evening practice and lessons in any weather.
• Golfschool Hoenderdaal, Driebergen — a calm golf school in the green Utrechtse Heuvelrug, ideal if you live around Driebergen, Zeist, Doorn or Bunnik and want to learn on grass, at your own pace.

Both clubs have easy online booking, and you never need a membership to take lessons with me.

What a lesson with me looks like

We start with where you are, not with theory. A first lesson is thirty minutes on grip, posture and a simple, relaxed swing — long enough to hit good shots, short enough to stay fresh. From there we build the parts of the game that matter most for you: driving with confidence, the short game that saves strokes, or putting that stops the three-putts. I keep it simple, positive and fun, because golfers who enjoy their lessons practise more and improve faster.

For every golfer

• Complete beginners: your first swing, how to hold the club, how to enjoy the range without feeling watched.
• Expats and internationals: lessons in English, the Dutch golf system (GVB, baanpermissie, handicap 54) explained in plain words, and a route to playing courses across the Netherlands.
• Children and teenagers: short, playful kids golf lessons with junior clubs provided.
• Improving players: technique, course strategy, and preparation for your first competitions.
• Groups, friends and companies: golf clinics and group events at Chi Chi Golf.

Prices you can see up front

A private 30-minute lesson starts at €35, a 60-minute lesson at €65, and two people can share a lesson from €18.75 per person.
