Learning the language of golf
Golf has its own little language, and at the start it can feel like a lot. Birdie, bogey, GVB, Stableford, baanpermissie — do not worry. You do not need to learn all of it at once. Pick up a few words each time you play, and soon it all feels natural.
This glossary keeps every explanation short and simple, the way I explain things on the range. If a word is still unclear, that is completely normal — bring your questions to a lesson and we will make it click together. You can see what a GVB involves or have a look at my lesson prices .
