Brunssummerheide Golf Club (Brunssum)

Brunssummerheide Golf Club

Where good golf begins

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should feel joyful, not stressful. I teach players of every age and level, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian, and I love watching a first clean strike turn into a lifelong hobby. Wherever you swing, I want you to enjoy it.

A heathland gem

Brunssummerheide Golf Club sits on the open heath near Brunssum, in the green south of Limburg. Founded in 1985, it has grown into one of the most generous golf destinations in the region, offering a remarkable 45 holes of golf spread across this beautiful heathland setting. That is a rare treat — plenty of room to play, explore and come back for more.

The heathland style gives the course its special character: airy, natural, with the soft colours of the heath and a calm, spacious feel. It plays as a true championship-level challenge, so stronger players find plenty to test their skills and their shot-making. At the same time, the club warmly welcomes visitors, so you can come and discover the heath for yourself.

There is a full driving range and an on-site academy, which makes Brunssummerheide a wonderful place to practise and grow. Beginners are made to feel at home, juniors are welcome, and lessons are available — exactly the kind of friendly, learning-focused club I love to see. Whether you are starting your very first round or sharpening a low handicap, there is space here for your game to flourish.

Play it with confidence

A course with this much variety rewards a swing you can trust. A few lessons make all the difference — better contact, smarter club choices, and far more fun on every hole. I teach the friendly, step-by-step way, so improvement feels easy and enjoyable.

I teach at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and at Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, and I’d be delighted to help you build a swing you can take to courses like Brunssummerheide and beyond. Beginners, juniors, ladies, expats — everyone is welcome, in the language you feel most comfortable speaking.
