Twenty-seven holes by a castle
Golf & Country Club Bleijenbeek sits on a 270-hectare estate around the ruins of Bleijenbeek Castle, in the heart of National Park De Maasduinen in Limburg. Gerard Jol laid out the course as three nine-hole loops — 27 holes, par 73, about 5,002 metres — so you build your own round from the loops on the day. It is parkland golf: tree-lined fairways, water in play, and the low river dunes of the Maas giving the land its shape.
Golfers rate it warmly. On LeadingCourses it holds 8.0 out of 10 from 623 ratings, and on Hole19 it scores 4.4 out of 5 from 87 ratings — steady numbers that point to a course people enjoy coming back to.
