Golfbaan Aldenghoor (Haelen)

Golfbaan Aldenghoor

Every round is a fresh start

Hello, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf teacher based in Utrecht. I love this game because there is always something new to discover — a better swing, a calmer mind, a round that suddenly clicks. Whether you have never held a club or you already play well, my goal is simple: help you enjoy your golf even more.

Golf beside a castle

Golfbaan Aldenghoor sits in Haelen, in the green south of Limburg, on the grounds around Kasteel Aldenghoor. That setting alone makes a round here special. There is something wonderful about teeing off near a historic castle, with quiet countryside all around and the feeling that you have stepped a little away from busy daily life.

The 18 holes give you plenty of room to play, think, and improve. A course like this rewards players who enjoy taking their time — walking the fairways, reading the ground, and choosing the smart shot rather than the risky one. That makes it a lovely place both for a relaxed day out and for sharpening the parts of your game that matter most.

For beginners and improving players, this kind of peaceful, scenic course is ideal. When you are not rushed and the surroundings are beautiful, it is much easier to focus, breathe, and let your swing flow. Expats new to the Netherlands will find it a memorable way to experience Dutch golf — castle views, open countryside, and the calm rhythm of a full round.

Play it with more confidence

A beautiful course is even more fun when your shots do what you want them to do. A few well-aimed lessons can change everything — a steadier setup, a smoother swing, and a clear plan for each hole. Suddenly the same round feels easier and far more enjoyable.

That is exactly what I love to help with. I teach all ages and levels — children and adults, complete beginners and players chasing a lower handicap. I speak Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so we will always understand each other easily. Wherever you choose to play, a little coaching makes a big difference.

If you would like to enjoy your golf more, come and take a lesson with me at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht or at Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen. Book online, send me a WhatsApp, or give me a call — I would love to help you play your best golf. See you on the course!
