Hello, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should feel good. When you swing freely and the ball flies the way you hoped, you smile — and I love helping players reach that moment. Whether you are brand new or already playing, a little guidance can change everything.

A green world in Flevoland

Golfclub Almeerderhout sits in a beautiful wooded setting in southern Flevoland, just outside Almere. With its tall trees and quiet water views over the Gooimeer, Markermeer and IJmeer, it feels like a green world of its own. This is parkland golf at its calmest and most natural.

What makes it truly special is the wildlife. As you walk the fairways you may hear songbirds, watch birds of prey circle overhead, and spot swans, ducks, rabbits, foxes and even deer. It is a course where you breathe deeply and feel far from the busy city.

There is plenty of golf here, too. Almeerderhout offers a generous 27 holes spread across three loops, so you can mix and match your round and never grow bored. The layout asks good questions of your game — it is a course that rewards thinking and clean ball-striking — which makes every well-played hole feel earned.

Best for: players who love space, nature and variety. With three loops, a covered driving range, a putting green, a short-game area and practice bunkers, it is a wonderful place to learn step by step. Beginners and juniors are warmly welcomed, there is a junior program, and lessons are available on site — exactly the friendly, room-to-grow setting I love for new golfers and improving players.

A course as natural and varied as Almeerderhout is most fun when you trust your swing. The trees and the three different loops keep things interesting — and a few simple lessons help you handle them with a smile instead of a sigh.

That is where I come in. I teach all ages and levels — children, adults, beginners and players who want to sharpen up — in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so everyone feels at home. We work on the basics that make golf easier: a relaxed grip, a balanced swing, and a short game that saves shots around the green.
