Hi, I am Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love the moment a new golfer first hits a clean shot and grins — that is what golf is all about. I teach in a friendly, simple way, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian, so every player feels at home. Beginner or improver, young or young at heart — you are welcome.
Holland at its prettiest
Golfclub Almkreek sits in Almkerk, in the green heart of Noord-Brabant, and it is a lovely place to play. This is an 18-hole parkland course laid out across open polder land, with old farmhouses, quiet ditches and pretty stretches of water. The wide skies and long views are Holland at its most beautiful — calm, spacious and full of light.
The course is shaped as two loops, so you can play a relaxed round and enjoy the scenery as you go. Water comes into play in places, which keeps every shot interesting without ever feeling unfair.
What I love most is how welcoming Almkreek is. It is pay-and-play, so you do not need to be a member to enjoy a round — visitors are simply welcome, and you can book your tee time online. There is a lit driving range, a putting green and a short-game area, plus an on-site academy, so there is space to warm up and learn. After your round, a cosy restaurant with a bar and terrace waits for you.
This makes Almkreek a great choice for beginners and improving players. With a short course, practice areas and lessons available on site, you can take your first swings here with confidence and grow at your own pace. Groups and friends are warmly catered for too.
