Golfbaan de Golfhorst (America)

Golfbaan de Golfhorst

Golf made friendly

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a simple goal: to help you fall in love with this game. I teach players of every age and level, from curious first-timers to golfers who want to lower their scores. With a few clear tips, golf gets easier and a lot more fun — and I love watching that happen.

A green corner of Limburg

Golfbaan de Golfhorst sits in the village of America, in the green countryside of Limburg. The course opened in 1997 and has grown into a welcoming 18-hole course where players come to relax and enjoy a full day out. The setting is peaceful and open, the kind of place where a round of golf feels like a small holiday.

There is plenty to enjoy here beyond the holes. A covered driving range means you can practice your swing whatever the weather, and a putting green and short-game area help you sharpen the parts of golf that really save you shots. There is also a shorter course on site — a lovely, low-pressure way for beginners and juniors to play real golf without feeling rushed.

After your round, the clubhouse restaurant, bar and terrace are waiting. It’s a warm spot to sit down, share a drink, and talk about that one great shot you’ll remember all week. With buggies and trolleys to rent and a golf academy on site, the course is set up to make your visit easy and comfortable from start to finish.

Who will enjoy de Golfhorst most? I’d say almost everyone. New golfers love the friendly feel and the practice options. Improving players enjoy a full, satisfying 18 holes. And groups looking for a fun day together will find a course that’s made for good company. Visitors are warmly welcome here.

Play it with confidence

A beautiful course is even more enjoyable when you feel sure of your swing. That’s where I come in. A few lessons with me — Marina Romanik — can smooth out your contact, build a steadier short game, and give you the calm confidence to enjoy every hole instead of worrying about it.

I teach in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so wherever you’re from, we’ll understand each other perfectly. Whether you’re picking up a club for the very first time or polishing your game before your next round, I’ll meet you exactly where you are and make every lesson fun.

Wherever you choose to play, a little coaching goes a long way. Book a lesson with me, and let’s get you ready to enjoy golf at its best. I’d love to help you play better and smile more on the course. ⛳
