Amsterdamsche Golf Club (Amstelveen)

Review by Marina Romanik

Golf is for everyone

Hi, I am Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf teacher. I love helping people discover how much fun this game can be. Beginners, juniors, ladies, experts — everyone is welcome with me, and I teach in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian. Golf has given me so much joy, and I want to share that joy with you.

A club with character

The Amsterdamsche Golf Club sits in Amstelveen, in the green heart of Noord-Holland. It is an 18-hole course set in calm, open Dutch landscape, where wide fairways and quiet water give every round a peaceful, welcoming feel. This is a place to slow down, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy walking from one hole to the next.

What makes a club like this special is the rhythm of the round. You move through the course step by step, planning each shot and watching your game grow. The setting is gentle on the eye and kind to your mind — exactly the kind of place where good golf feels natural.

Best for players who love a relaxed, scenic round: improving players who want room to practice their long game, and anyone who simply enjoys being outside with a club in hand. If you are just starting out, a friendly course like this is a wonderful place to build confidence one swing at a time.

Play it better with me

Every course feels more fun when your swing feels easy and your shots go where you want. That is what lessons are for. Together we can work on your grip, your balance, and a smooth, repeatable swing — small changes that make a big difference on the course.

Wherever you choose to play, a few lessons sharpen your game and grow your confidence. I teach at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and at Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, and I would love to help you enjoy golf even more.
