Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love watching the moment golf “clicks” for someone — when a swing that felt clumsy suddenly feels easy. Whether you have never held a club or you already play, my job is to make learning fun, clear and a little bit addictive.
A friendly Twente course
Golfclub de Koepel sits in Wierden, in the green Overijssel countryside of the Twente region. It is an 18-hole course with a par of 70, so it offers a full, rewarding round without ever feeling overwhelming. The relaxed, welcoming club atmosphere makes it a place where you feel at home quickly.
There is plenty here to help you grow as a golfer. A driving range lets you warm up and practice your swing before you head out. The on-site golf academy means good coaching is part of the club’s spirit. After your round, a comfortable restaurant invites you to relax, and buggy and trolley rental keep the day easy on your legs.
Best of all, de Koepel is genuinely welcoming to beginners and to juniors. Visitors are welcome, you can book online, and the club happily hosts groups and events. If you are just starting out, learning to love the game in a calm, friendly setting like this is a wonderful way to begin.

A beautiful course like this is even more fun when your shots go where you want them to. A few good lessons can do exactly that — a steadier swing, smarter choices around the green, and far more confidence on the first tee.

Do I need a handicap or GVB card to play at Golfclub de Koepel?
No. De Koepel is a pay-and-play course, so you can walk on and play without a handicap certificate or NGF card. Everyone is welcome.
