Golfpark De Loonsche Duynen

Golf made welcoming

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I believe golf should feel open and friendly from your very first swing. I teach all ages and levels — beginners, juniors, women, men and improving players — in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian. My goal is simple: help you enjoy every round a little more.

A natural beauty

Golfpark De Loonsche Duynen sits in one of the most beautiful settings you could ask for. The course spreads across 95 hectares between the Loonse en Drunense Duinen nature reserve and the Landgoed Huis ter Heide estate near Kaatsheuvel. Founded in 1994, it grew into a true heathland course, with forests, open heath, soft sandy terrain, water features and bunkers woven through the holes.

The 18 holes run as two loops, so you have variety and space all the way round. The mix of trees, heather and sand gives the course a calm, natural feel — the kind of place where the surroundings are part of the pleasure, not just the golf.

What I love most is how open it is to everyone. This is a pay-and-play course, so you do not need a handicap or GVB card to come and play. There is a driving range, a putting green and a short-game area to warm up, plus a short course that is perfect for building confidence. With an on-site golf academy, a restaurant, a bar and a terrace, it is a friendly home for a relaxed day of golf.

Best for? Beginners and juniors who want a gentle, welcoming start, improving players who enjoy a natural setting, and expats looking for an easy, no-fuss place to play. Ladies programmes and group events round it all out.

Play it with confidence

A course this scenic is even more fun when your swing feels steady. A few lessons can do wonders — better contact, smarter club choices around the heath and bunkers, and a calmer mind on the tee. That is exactly what I love to teach.

Wherever you play, a little coaching sharpens your whole game. Book a lesson with me, Marina Romanik, and let’s get you enjoying every hole with confidence and a smile. I’d love to help you play your best — see you on the course!
