Where good golf begins
Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should feel fun from your very first swing. I teach players of every age and level — children, beginners, and golfers who want to sharpen their game. I speak Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so wherever you come from, you will feel at home with me.
A course in the woods
Golfclub De Wouwse Plantage sits in a quiet, wooded corner of Noord-Brabant, between Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal. It is a place that feels far from the rush of everyday life — surrounded by forests, heathland and old estate grounds.
What I love about this 18-hole course is its two very different sides. One loop winds through forest, where holes are framed by trees and gentle sand drifts give the land a wild, natural character. The other loop opens into parkland, with a stream and water features bringing light and calm to your round. Two loops, two moods, one peaceful day of golf.
There is plenty to enjoy beyond the holes too. A driving range, putting green and short-game area give you space to warm up and practise. There is an academy on site, a welcoming clubhouse with a restaurant, and a terrace where you can relax after your round. Buggies and trolleys are available, and parking is easy.
This is a course that rewards thoughtful play, which makes it wonderful for improving golfers who enjoy a setting full of nature. With a junior programme, a short course and a ladies programme, it is also a friendly place for young players and for anyone building confidence step by step.
