Golfclub Gendersteyn (Veldhoven)

Golfclub Gendersteyn

Golf made friendly

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love helping people fall for this game — beginners taking their very first swing, juniors full of energy, and players who simply want to score better and enjoy every round. I teach in calm, clear English, Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian, so everyone feels at home. Wherever you tee it up, the goal is the same: more fun, more confidence, better golf.

A varied Brabant gem

Golfclub Gendersteyn sits in the green heart of Noord-Brabant, in Veldhoven just outside Eindhoven. It’s a true heathland-style course, and one of its nicest qualities is its variety. The golf is laid out over three loops, giving you a fresh, flexible round each time you visit — a lovely mix of woodland, heather and open holes set in the soft Brabant countryside.

That mix is exactly what makes the course so enjoyable. The tree-lined sections feel quiet and sheltered, while the more open holes let you breathe, swing freely and enjoy the wide Brabant sky. The heath gives the course its warm, natural colours through the seasons. It’s the kind of place where the surroundings make you want to slow down and savour the walk between shots.

Gendersteyn is also a wonderfully welcoming place to play. It’s pay-and-play, visitors are warmly received, and you can book your tee time online — easy and stress-free. There’s a driving range, a putting green and a short-game area to warm up or sharpen your touch, plus a restaurant, bar and terrace to relax afterwards. With an on-site golf academy, lessons, group and corporate events and a ladies’ programme, it’s a course built around people who love to learn and improve.

Best for: this one is a gem for beginners and improving players. The friendly, flexible loops and the relaxed pay-and-play feel make it a gentle, encouraging place to build your game — and the practice facilities mean every visit can also be a little lesson in itself.

Play it even better

A course as varied as Gendersteyn rewards a few good habits — a steady setup, a simple, repeatable swing, and a smart short game around those heathland greens. That’s where a little coaching makes a big difference. I’m Marina Romanik, and I love turning small changes into real, lasting improvement, always in a relaxed and positive way.

If you’d like to enjoy your golf more and watch your scores drop, come and take a lesson with me. Together we’ll build a swing you can trust and a short game you can rely on — so every round feels easier and more fun. Book a lesson online, send me a WhatsApp, or give me a call. I’d love to help you play your best golf.
