A friendly parkland nine
Golf- & Countryclub Heiloo sits in the green heart of Noord-Holland, a calm parkland course with nine holes framed by trees and open sky. Parkland means soft, tree-lined fairways rather than dunes, so the walk feels gentle and the views stay pretty from tee to green. You can play the nine on its own, or go round twice for a full day out. The green fee is friendly too: around €40 for nine holes, about €65 for eighteen.
The club is well set up for a relaxed visit. There is a driving range and a putting green to warm up, a pro shop for anything you forget, and buggy and trolley rental if you would rather save your legs. When you finish, the restaurant and terrace are waiting with something cold and a nice view of the course. It is open all year round, so a bright winter morning is just as welcome as a summer evening.
What I like most for my own students is the on-site golf academy and the junior program. Heiloo is an NGF-affiliated club, so you will want your GVB (the Dutch golf card that shows you know the course rules), and the academy is a warm, patient place to earn it. Young players get their own program, which means children learn properly and have fun doing it. For families, that is gold. Many new golfers tell me the same thing: they were nervous the first time, and a friendly club with real teaching made all the difference. Heiloo has exactly that feeling.

Play it better with a few lessons
A course like Heiloo rewards a simple, repeatable swing more than raw power. Nine holes give you time to feel your rhythm, and with a little coaching that rhythm turns into lower scores fast. I teach grip, stance and balance step by step, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian, whichever is easiest for you. Small steps. Small steps win in golf.

Do I need a handicap or GVB card to play at Golfclub Heiloo?
Yes, a GVB (the Dutch golf introductory certificate) or an equivalent handicap is required to play. If you are new to golf, the club's own academy is a patient and friendly place to earn your GVB before stepping onto the course.
How much does a green fee cost?
A nine-hole round is around €40 and a full eighteen holes (two loops of nine) is around €65. You can book and pay easily online via the club website.
