Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love helping people fall for this game — beginners taking their very first swing, juniors full of energy, and players who simply want to get better. Golf should feel relaxed and fun, and a few good lessons can change everything about how you play.

On the roof of Brabant

Golf De Gulbergen sits on the highest point of Noord-Brabant — locals call it “Het dak van Brabant”, the roof of Brabant. From up here you get wide, sweeping views over the rolling countryside, and that gentle height gives the whole course a special, airy feel. It is a real treat to play golf with a horizon like that around you.

This is a generous parkland course with 27 holes. That number is the secret to its charm: the holes are arranged as flexible loops, so you can choose a calm 9-hole walk or a longer day out, and the mix always feels a little different. At par 70 and around 5,655 metres, it stays friendly and very playable while still giving you plenty to enjoy.

The setting is open and rolling, with mature trees and soft green fairways. It is the kind of place where a beginner feels welcome and an experienced player still finds something to think about. There is a real golf academy on site, a covered and floodlit driving range, a putting green, a short-game area and practice bunkers — everything you need to warm up or to truly work on your game.
