Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor based in Utrecht. I teach golfers of every age and level — children, adults, complete beginners and players who want to sharpen their game. I speak Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so wherever you come from, you’ll feel at home in a lesson with me.
A course in the woods
Golfclub Leenderbos, also known as Haviksoord, sits in the green village of Leende in Noord-Brabant. The club opened its doors in 1976, and what makes it special is right there in the trees: this 18-hole course was built entirely inside an existing forest. The designers used the natural landscape instead of reshaping it, so the woodland character runs through the whole round.
That gives Leenderbos a calm, natural feel. You play between mature trees, with the forest framing each hole and quiet all around you. It’s a beautiful place to spend a few hours with a club in your hand.
The course rewards thoughtful, accurate golf, so it’s a lovely challenge for players who like to plan each shot. There’s a restaurant with a bar and terrace at the club, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings after your round. And because lessons are available here, it’s also a welcoming spot to keep improving.

Do I need a handicap to play at Golfclub Leenderbos?
Yes, a valid handicap (EGA/NGF) is required to play at Leenderbos. It is a private members' club, so guests are welcome when introduced by a member — contact the club at +31 (0)40 2061818 or [email protected] to arrange your visit.
