Every round tells a story
Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf teacher based in Utrecht. I love watching a player relax, swing freely, and suddenly find that easy contact that makes golf feel like a gift. Whether you are brand new to the game or already breaking par, I am here to help you enjoy it more. Golf should feel light, friendly and fun — and that is exactly how I teach.
Heathland golf at its best
The Nunspeetse Golf en Country Club De Verwaeyde Sandbergen sits in the lovely green countryside of Nunspeet, in Gelderland. This is heathland golf — soft purple heather, sandy soil and quiet woodland — the kind of natural setting that makes you breathe a little slower and smile a little more.
With 27 holes laid out as three nine-hole loops, you get wonderful variety here. You can mix the loops in different ways, so the course feels fresh each time you visit. That flexibility is a real treat: every round can be a slightly new adventure.
The club has everything you need to grow as a player. There is a driving range to warm up and work on your swing, a golf academy for learning, and friendly lessons available on site. Juniors are very welcome, with a dedicated junior program, and there is a ladies program too — so the whole family can feel at home. After your round, the restaurant, bar and terrace are a happy place to relax, share stories and enjoy the calm Veluwe setting.
Who will love it most? Improving players who enjoy thoughtful, natural courses will feel right at home among the heather. Juniors and ladies looking for a warm, welcoming club will find a friendly place to grow. And anyone who simply loves beautiful Dutch heathland golf will leave wanting to come back.
