Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should feel fun from your very first swing. I teach players of every age and level, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian — whatever puts you at ease. My job is to make the game click for you, one relaxed lesson at a time.

A green escape near the river

Golfclub Oude Maas sits in Rhoon, in the green countryside just south of Rotterdam, taking its name from the old river that winds through this part of Zuid-Holland. It’s a welcoming parkland course, where 18 holes weave between trees, water and gentle open spaces. Parkland courses like this one are a joy to walk: leafy, calm, and full of little views that make you want to keep playing.

What I love most about Oude Maas is how much it offers a player who wants to grow. There’s a golf academy, a friendly pro shop, and a restaurant where you can relax after your round. The club is NGF-affiliated and you can book your tee time online, which makes a visit easy to plan. It’s a beginner-friendly place too, so new golfers feel right at home rather than rushed.

The club also runs group events and a ladies program, so it’s a great spot if you want to play with friends or join other women who are learning and enjoying the game together. For improving players, juniors, beginners and expats alike, Oude Maas is the kind of place where a good round feels within reach — and where every visit teaches you something new.
