Golfpark Reymerswael sits just outside Rilland, in the far east of Zeeland, where North Brabant, Zeeland and Flanders come together. Alan Rijks and Joan Dudok van Heel shaped the course in 1986, and it plays as a par 71 over 18 holes of links land — rolling ground, low vegetation, and dunes placed to make you think. The wide horizon opens onto the Schelde-Rijn Canal, the Westerschelde, and the Brabantse Wal, so much of your round is played under a big, open sky with water in the distance.

The club’s own website presents Reymerswael as a pay-and-play course, which means you do not need a handicap or a GVB card to tee off: you book online, you show up, you play. An 18-hole green fee sits around €62.50, mid-range (€€) for a Dutch round.

Practice, then play

There is real practice ground here before you head out. A covered driving range keeps you swinging whatever the Zeeland weather is doing, and there is a putting green, practice bunkers, and a golf academy on site. A restaurant is open for after the round, and buggies and clubs are there to rent if you need them.
