Review by Marina Romanik
Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should make you smile. I teach every age and every level, from a curious first-timer to a player chasing a lower handicap. And I love courses where the game feels welcoming and fun — the kind of place that turns a quiet afternoon into your new favourite hobby.
Golfclub Landgoed Coudewater sits on a leafy estate in Rosmalen, in the heart of Noord-Brabant. It is a 9-hole course with a par of 35 — friendly in size, but rich in charm. A shorter loop like this is one of golf’s quiet pleasures: you can play a relaxed round without giving up your whole day, and you walk past the same welcoming clubhouse twice.
What makes Coudewater easy to love is everything around the golf, too. There is a driving range to warm up and groove your swing, a putting green to sharpen the part of the game that saves the most shots, and a comfortable restaurant for a coffee or a bite when you come in. Buggies are available, lockers and showers are ready, and the club is NGF-affiliated and open all year round, so there is always a reason to come back.
Visitors are warmly welcomed and you can book your tee time online — simple and stress-free. Best of all for new and growing golfers: there is a golf academy on site, juniors are very welcome, and there is a dedicated junior program. That tells you a lot about a club’s spirit. A place that nurtures young players and offers lessons is a place that wants you to enjoy the game and keep improving.
So who will love Coudewater most? Beginners who want a gentle, friendly start. Juniors taking their first proper swings. And improving players who like the focus of nine well-kept holes, where every shot counts and every round teaches you something.

A beautiful 9-hole course is even more fun when your swing feels solid and your short game holds up under pressure. That is exactly where a few lessons make all the difference — fewer worries over the ball, more enjoyment of the round, and the happy feeling of watching your scores come down.
I’m Marina Romanik, and I teach golf in a warm, clear and patient way, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian. Whether you are stepping onto a course for the very first time or polishing your game to play places like Coudewater with confidence, I would love to help. Book a lesson with me, send me a WhatsApp, or just give me a call — and let’s make your golf more fun, one happy swing at a time.

Marina does not teach at Coudewater itself, but a lesson with her is a great way to build the swing confidence and short-game skills that make a 9-hole parkland round even more enjoyable. Book online, send a WhatsApp, or give her a call.
