Golfclub St. Nicolaasga

Golf is for everyone

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf teacher. I believe golf should feel light and joyful from your very first swing. I teach all ages and every level — children, beginners, and players who want to sharpen their game. I speak Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so wherever you come from, we’ll understand each other on the first tee.

A friendly Friesland club

Golfclub St. Nicolaasga sits in the village of Sint Nicolaasga, in the heart of Friesland — a province loved for its wide skies, calm water and open green countryside. Golf in this part of the Netherlands has a special feeling: fresh air, room to breathe, and the quiet pleasure of walking through nature with a club in your hand.

A round here is about more than your score. It’s the kind of place where you slow down, enjoy the company, and let the game come to you. Friesland’s relaxed, welcoming spirit suits golfers who want to learn and improve without pressure.

Who will love it most? I’d say beginners who want a gentle, friendly start, players returning to the game, and anyone who simply enjoys being outdoors. Golf is one of the few sports you can play your whole life, with family and friends of every age — and a club set in this peaceful landscape is a lovely place to fall in love with it.

Play it with confidence

Every course feels better when your swing feels easy and natural — and that’s exactly what we work on together. A few good lessons can change everything: a steadier swing, cleaner contact, and the quiet confidence that you know what to do on each shot.

I teach with warmth and patience. We start where you are, keep it simple, and make every lesson fun. No jargon, no pressure — just clear, friendly coaching that you can take straight onto the course.

Wherever you choose to play, a little practice with me makes the whole game more enjoyable. Book a lesson with Marina Romanik and let’s get your golf feeling great. I’d love to help you play your best — and have fun doing it.
