Hi, I am Marina Romanik, a PGA golf instructor with a simple belief: golf should feel light, friendly and full of small wins. I love watching a new player hit one clean shot and break into a smile. That moment is why I teach. Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or polishing a swing you already enjoy, I am here to make the game click for you.

A relaxed place to play

Golfclub Swalmen, in the green Limburg countryside near Reuver and Beesel, is the kind of place that makes golf feel welcoming from the very first shot. It is an 18-hole pitch & putt course — short, playful and easy to walk — which makes it a wonderful spot to learn the parts of the game that really lower your scores: the approach shots and the putts.

Because the holes are short, you swing more often and worry less. There is no pressure to hit huge drives. Instead you focus on touch, feel and aim — exactly the skills that beginners build fastest and that experienced players love to sharpen. The easygoing layout means you can play a full round without feeling tired, then talk it over with friends afterwards.

The facilities back up that friendly feeling. There is a driving range to warm up and groove your swing, a short-game area to practise the chips and pitches you will use on every hole, and a comfortable restaurant where you can relax when you are done. If you arrive without gear, club rental is available, so it is simple to just turn up and play. The course also welcomes groups, which makes it a fun choice for a day out with family, friends or colleagues.

I teach at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and at Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, and I welcome every age and level — children, adults, beginners and players who already love the game. I speak Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so you can learn in the language that feels most natural to you.
