Every round tells a story
Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love seeing the moment golf “clicks” for someone — that first clean strike that flies straight and true. Whether you have played for years or you are just curious to start, my goal is simple: to make golf fun and easy to learn.
A warm club in the east
Golfclub ’t Woold sits in the green countryside of Winterswijk, in the eastern part of Gelderland near Henxel. This 18-hole course gives you plenty of room to enjoy a full, satisfying round, with the quiet, open feel that makes this corner of the Netherlands so special. It is a peaceful place to spend a day with your clubs.
The club welcomes visitors warmly, with online tee-time booking to make planning easy. You’ll find everything you need to play and improve: a driving range to warm up, a pro shop for any gear, and a friendly restaurant to relax in afterwards. Buggies and trolleys are available too, so you can play in comfort.
What I like most is how open the club is to newcomers. It is beginner-friendly, juniors are welcome, and there is a golf academy on site. Add in space for group events, and ’t Woold becomes a lovely choice for new golfers, young players, and anyone who wants to enjoy the game in a calm, friendly setting.

Do I need a handicap or GVB card to play at Golfclub 't Woold?
Yes, a valid handicap is required. The club is NGF-affiliated and open to visitors who come with a member introduction, so it is a good idea to arrange this before your visit or contact the club directly.
How much does a green fee cost?
A 9-hole round costs €45 and a full 18-hole round costs €75. You can book your tee time online at golfclubwinterswijk.nl.
Can I book a tee time online?

Is 't Woold suitable for beginners or junior golfers?
Absolutely. The club is beginner-friendly, juniors are very welcome, and there is a golf academy on site. The moderate parkland layout gives new players plenty of room to enjoy the game without feeling overwhelmed.
