Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf teacher based in Utrecht. I believe golf should feel light, happy and full of small wins — that little click when the ball flies the way you pictured it. Whether you are brand new to the game or chasing a lower score, I love helping people enjoy every step.
A leafy escape in Naarden
Golfclub ’t Naarderbos opened in 2003 and has grown into a lovely woodland course on the edge of Naarden. It sits right beside the Gooimeer lake, with a large, modern clubhouse of 6,000 m² where you can relax before or after your round. The setting is what makes this place so special: an ecological corridor links the famous Naardermeer nature reserve to the randmeren, so the course is alive with greenery and birdsong. On a quiet day you might even spot an otter or a beaver near the water — a real treat while you play.
The course has 18 holes, par 72, laid out as two loops through the trees. The tree-lined fairways and natural surroundings keep every round calm and enjoyable, and the relaxed mood means you never feel rushed. Best of all, ’t Naarderbos is pay-and-play: you do not need a handicap or GVB card, you can simply book a tee time online and go. That makes it a wonderful place to take your first full round, or to enjoy easy, friendly golf if you already play. With a driving range, putting green and an academy on site, there is space to warm up and improve too. For golfers around Utrecht it is an easy outing — about 24 minutes by car.
