Golf is for everyone
Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love helping people fall in love with this game — whether you have never held a club or you are chasing a lower handicap. My golf is friendly, simple, and fun, and I teach all ages in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian.
A green escape in Eindhoven
Golfclub Welschap sits on the western edge of Eindhoven, tucked neatly between the A2 motorway and the Beatrixkanaal. It was once part of a Philips estate, and you can still feel that history today in the old oak avenues that line the holes. Founded in 1993, it has grown into a warm, welcoming club where families come to play and improve together.
The 18-hole parkland layout, par 71, gives you a lovely mix to enjoy. Some holes wind through mature woodland, where tall oaks frame the fairway and ask for a thoughtful tee shot. Others open up into wider, sunnier fairways with water features that add a little sparkle — and a fun challenge — to your round. It is a course that rewards good thinking as much as good swinging, which makes it a joy to learn on.
What I love most about Welschap is its real coaching heart. There is a full golf academy on site, a covered and floodlit driving range, a putting green, a short-game area and practice bunkers — everything you need to warm up and sharpen your skills. The club runs a dedicated junior programme, so young players are genuinely welcomed and encouraged. For beginners, juniors, and anyone keen to grow their game, this is a friendly and supportive place to be.
After your round, the clubhouse restaurant and terrace are perfect for relaxing with friends. Welschap is the kind of family-friendly club where golf feels like a day out, not just a game.
