Eighteen short holes, par 54

Golfodome is a pitch-and-putt course in Reuver, in the province of Limburg. On its own website the club describes a full round of eighteen short holes at a par of 54 — every hole built around the wedge and the putter. This is the friendliest kind of golf. No long carries, no waiting for a handicap, just green after green within reach.

You do not need a GVB card or any handicap here. Golfodome is pay-and-play, so you arrive, pay your green fee and walk straight to the first tee. A full eighteen-hole round costs around €15, and no membership is asked of you. Tee times are arranged by phone rather than online, so a quick call ahead confirms your spot.

Pitch and putt is where new golfers find their feet, so Golfodome suits beginners, juniors and families most of all — a complete round without the pressure of a championship layout. Groups looking for a relaxed afternoon are welcome too.

Practice before you play

For warming up there is a driving range, a putting green and a short-game practice area, so you can loosen the wedge before your round. If you do not own clubs yet, you can rent them on site — nothing stops you from playing. And when the last putt drops, the restaurant is there for a drink or a bite.

Marina's note for learners

I always tell beginners that pitch & putt is where the game clicks — every hole rewards a soft wedge and a calm putt, the exact skills I build in my lessons. A visit here before or after a few sessions is a great way to put those short-game touches into practice on a real course.

The short game is the whole game

On a par-54 course there is no hiding behind a big drive. Every shot is a pitch, a chip or a putt — the very part of the game where most strokes are won or lost. Before a round on ground like this, I most enjoy helping players build a soft, confident wedge and a calm putting stroke. Get those two right and Golfodome becomes a real pleasure.

How much does a round cost?

A full 18-hole round costs around €15. No membership is needed.

Yes — pitch & putt is one of the best formats for new players and younger golfers. Every hole is short and built around the wedge and putter, so beginners can focus on technique and juniors can play a complete round without feeling overwhelmed.

Can I rent clubs if I don't have my own equipment?

Yes, club rental is available on site. Bring comfortable shoes and you are ready to play — no bag required.

Can I take a lesson with Marina Romanik before playing here?

Marina teaches at Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht and Golfschool Hoenderdaal in Driebergen, not at Golfodome itself. A lesson or two with her is a great way to prepare — pitch & putt rewards exactly the soft wedge and calm putting technique she builds in every session. Book online, WhatsApp, or call her directly.
