Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor. I love watching a player light up the moment a swing finally clicks. Whether you are brand new to the game or chasing a lower handicap, I teach in a calm, friendly way — in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian. The right course makes learning a joy, and this one has a special character all of its own.

An inland dune gem

Goyer Golf & Country Club sits in Eemnes, right on the edge of ’t Gooi in the Utrecht region. What makes it stand out is its setting: this is an inland dune course, with an American-signature design that feels open, rolling and full of light. Large sand “oases” sweep across the land, water features sparkle between the holes, and the greens are famously fast — a real test of touch that rewards a soft, confident putting stroke.

The 18-hole, par-72 layout runs as two flowing loops, so your round has a natural rhythm and a great variety of looks. The fast greens and clever shaping give the course a championship feel, the kind of place that asks you to think about every shot. That is exactly what makes it so satisfying to play well — and so rewarding to learn on.

Off the course there is plenty to enjoy too. There is a driving range to warm up and practise, a pro shop for anything you need, and a welcoming clubhouse with a restaurant, bar and terrace where you can relax after your round. Buggies and trolleys are available, so you can play in comfort.

Goyer is a members’ club with a friendly, family spirit. It runs a junior programme and welcomes young players, offers a ladies’ programme, hosts group events, and has lessons available on site — a sign of a club that truly cares about helping every golfer grow.
