Grevelingenhout Golf & Country Club

Every round tells a story

Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor with a big love for this game. I have taught players of every age and level — children, parents, complete beginners and golfers chasing a lower handicap. My promise is simple: golf should feel fun, friendly and within your reach.

Golf with a sea breeze

Grevelingenhout Golf & Country Club sits in the open Zeeland landscape near Bruinisse, where the air carries a fresh hint of the water. The course opened in 1988 and was designed by the respected architect Donald Harradine, a name behind many beautiful European layouts. His parkland design here gives you 18 holes, a par of 72, and a generous length of just over 6,150 metres — room to enjoy your driver and to learn how to shape your shots.

What I love about a Harradine parkland course is its honest, welcoming character. Mature trees frame the fairways, the greens reward a thoughtful approach, and the wide setting gives you space to breathe and think between shots. It is the kind of place where a beginner can grow in confidence and an experienced player can test every club in the bag.

The club is built for golfers who like to feel at home. There is a friendly clubhouse with a restaurant, bar and terrace, a pro shop, and an academy for those who want to get better. Buggies and trolleys make the round easy on your legs, and the course is wheelchair accessible too. Best of all, visitors are warmly welcome — you can book a tee time online and simply come and play.

Best for: beginners and juniors finding their feet, improving players who want space to practise their long game, and anyone — locals or expats — who enjoys golf with a calm, open-sky atmosphere.

Play it better, enjoy it more

A course like this is even more rewarding when your swing feels reliable. A few lessons can turn a long parkland hole from a worry into a chance to shine — a cleaner contact, a smarter approach, a putt that drops.

Wherever you choose to play, I would love to help you improve. Together we work on the basics that last: a calm setup, a smooth swing and a clear plan for each shot. My lessons are relaxed, encouraging and easy to follow, in Dutch, English, Ukrainian or Russian.

Ready to enjoy your golf even more? Book a lesson with me, send a quick WhatsApp, or give me a call. Let’s get you playing your best — and having fun every step of the way. See you on the course!
