Hi, I’m Marina Romanik, a PGA-certified golf instructor based in Utrecht. I love helping people discover how rewarding this game can be — beginners taking their very first swings, juniors full of energy, and seasoned players who want to sharpen up. I teach in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so wherever you come from, you’ll feel right at home with me.

Royal Waterland Golf & Country Club is a relaxed 18-hole parkland course set in the open polder just north of Amsterdam. Founded in 1990, it sits only ten minutes from the Amsterdam city centre, yet it feels like a different world — wide green fairways, big Dutch skies, and birds all around you. The flat polder landscape is dotted with water, so each round has a calm, scenic rhythm that golfers really enjoy.

With a par of 71 across two loops, the course rewards thoughtful play without overwhelming you. The setting is forgiving and friendly: there’s room to breathe, water to think about, and plenty of space to enjoy your swing. The practice facilities are excellent for working on your game. There’s a covered, floodlit driving range, a putting green, a short-game area, and practice bunkers — everything you need to warm up or fine-tune your technique.
